Teaching on Education for sustainable development and climate restoration is important for us to make changes in the community. Education fills knowledge gap, children who are the future generation needs to be aware, involved and educated about the world’s biggest challenges. We want children to be able to go outside of their classroom and change communities.

Who can join?

Schools interested to work with us toward a sustainable future for all are welcome to join, speak with your school head and be sure to have their support. You can register your school with the Climate and Environmental Education unit of Eco Diversified International.

What is Expected?

Schools that key into this vision will initiate and share information about environmental projects and events at their schools to address not only the most pressing issues in their community such as water conservation, improper waste disposal, deforestation, pollution and many others but also national and global issues like working in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), our unique media platform will reach and inspire youths to learn about ways to protect the planet.

It will expand the collective environmental awareness of countless youths and communities by giving them access to world class Volunteers, Scientists, Conservation artists, Environmentalists, Waste managers, Engineers and more.

Benefits

Benefit of our activities to the school:

• Due to our work of art, Eco Garden, litter less campaign, tree planting among others, our presence will beautify the school.
• We will continually work with the schools on environmental related matters
• The schools will be involved and engaged in our educational programs; Eco Quiz competition, Essay writing, Art challenge, Capacity building, Entrepreneurship training, Awards and more
• Educators will gain access to a wide network of volunteers to aid in projects, provide classroom lectures, hands-on teaching assistance, and workshops to develop their knowledge base about the environment
• Accessing a dynamic events calendar offering teachers conferences, workshops and information on environmental events
• It will raise the profile of the school as part of a large network
• Access to certificate for participating students, teachers and schools

Benefit of our activities to the Students:

• Expanding their eco-consciousness; Increase knowledge base of the students about their immediate environment and the need to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
• Students will learn about green technology, the changes around them, how to mitigate the change and how they can take action in their community
• Meeting and collaborating with other schools from varying socio-economic backgrounds and cultures
• Students will gain leadership skills, entrepreneurial skills, mentorship and guidance from our teachings
• Students will recognize the need to act responsibly in an increasingly interconnected but uncertain world
• Stretching their expectations of self; be aware of themselves as thinkers, encouraging them to become more acquainted with the complexity of knowledge
• Positively impacting their peers, families, schools, communities and planet
• Creating and building upon a vision of a sustainable future
• Participating in a grass roots movement to sustain the planet
• It will serve as an extra curriculum activity for the students

Levy information

• Partnering schools are to register with a fee of #5,000, this covers for the Eco Club materials and resources
• Registration renewal fee after one year from registering is #3,000
